Taking Courses

Enroll in a course, work through units, and track your progress.

Courses are the structured part of the platform: modules, units, homework and cohort cohorts with fixed start dates. Browse the catalog on the courses page.

Enrolling

Open a course and press Enroll. Self-paced courses open immediately; cohort courses start on their announced date and add a schedule with live sessions.

Working through a course

Units unlock in order. A unit mixes reading, a video and a homework assignment.
Homework is peer-reviewed: you submit your work, then review other learners' submissions.
Your progress bar on the course page tracks completed units automatically.

Cohort courses also add you to a private Slack channel for the duration of the run — use it to ask questions between live sessions.
