Joining the Community

Get your Slack invite, introduce yourself, and find the channels that matter.

Most of the actual help happens in the community Slack, not on the website. Joining takes two minutes.

  1. Become a member on the membership page — the free tier already includes Slack access.
  2. Use the join link you receive after signup to enter the Slack workspace.
  3. Post a short introduction in #introductions: what you do today and what you want to ship.

Channels worth knowing

  • #announcements — workshops and course launches, low traffic.
  • #questions — the fastest place to get unstuck on course material.
  • #contributing — proposing wiki pages, articles and workshop topics.

Members with a paid tier additionally get access to project review channels, where mentors look at real pull requests.
